Fundació ENT:
Fundació ENT is a non-profit organisation specialising in environmental policy, waste management, and circular economy. With over 20 years of experience, ENT supports public authorities at all levels — from local to European — by combining technical expertise with participatory approaches. ENT has coordinated and contributed to several EU-funded projects, including LIFE BIOBEST and H2020 Biocircularcities, and is recognised for its leadership, stakeholder engagement, and innovative environmental solutions.
ENT’s Role in LIFE4EPR:
As coordinator of LIFE4EPR, Fundació ENT leads the overall implementation of the project and the development of its flagship output: the pilot EU-wide register of producers and products, designed to test harmonised data systems for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
In addition, LIFE4EPR delivers essential resources such as EPR scheme mapping, benchmarking studies, and policy recommendations — all aimed at improving monitoring, supporting harmonisation, and informing better policy design across Europe.
For ENT, this project is a key opportunity to apply its technical and policy expertise to shape the future of EPR in Europe — especially in light of the upcoming Circular Economy Act, expected by September 2026. This makes our collective input not only important, but also urgent.
