SUMMARY:LIFE4EPR Working Group on EPR registration and reporting
DESCRIPTION:This first LIFE4EPR Expert Hub Registration Working Group meeting will introduce the tool developed within the project and the upcoming user-testing phase. The session will provide Expert Hub members and other relevant stakeholders with an opportunity to learn more about the platform\, understand how the testing activities will be organised and contribute their practical experience and perspectives. Participants interested in the user-testing phase will also have the opportunity to express their interest in taking part in the upcoming testing activities. This will support LIFE4EPR in building a diverse and representative pool of users and collecting structured feedback to further refine the tool and its usability. SUMMARY:LIFE4EPR: General consultation on ‘collection results’ in EPR
DESCRIPTION:This workshop focuses on the collection of waste as a key aspect of EPR systems. The objective of the workshop is to gather a comprehensive range of perspectives on the results that EPR systems achieve in terms of the amounts\, quality and other aspects. Taking the form of a consultation\, the event allows EPR stakeholders to share their knowledge and experiences\, enabling LIFE4EPR project to identify best practices to develop means to measure performance in this aspect of EPR systems. \n  \nFor the consulation\, the participants will be divided\,  after the short introductory presentations from the project\, into breakout sessions of around  7-12 experts. These parallel breakout sessions will include those focusing on collection from the viewpoints of international comparative perspectives\, latest research findings\, as well as the actors involved in registers and reporting.  The participants are free to choose whether to take part in one of these three  focused  breakout sessions\, or in the session that discusses collection results in general terms.

Drawing insights from stakeholders from different EU countries\, regulatory levels and product streams\, the event aims to gain key takeaways on how to further harmonise EPR registries in the EU to improve the transparency and enforceability of EPR in the EU.”

Taking the form of a consultation\, the event allows EPR stakeholders to share their knowledge and experiences on best practices on rules on recycling with LIFE4EPR project. This supports LIFE4EPR in developing the measurement of performance on this aspect of EPR systems. \nNote that this consultation consists of three back-to-back meetings on the same day\, some of which target a specific group of stakeholders.
