Description of ZWE:
Zero Waste Europe (ZWE) is the European network of communities, local leaders, experts, and change agents working towards a better use of resources and the elimination of waste in our society. We advocate for sustainable systems; for the redesign of our relationship with resources; and for a global shift towards environmental justice, accelerating a just transition towards zero waste for the benefit of people and the planet.
Description of your role in the Life4epr Project and what you find particularly interesting/challenging/
I lead the co-creation process with our stakeholders and the development of policy recommendations. The fun but also challenging part is to involve a balanced set of stakeholders, keep them engaged, and develop timely and relevant recommendations that support EU policymaking, notably as part of the announced Circular Economy Act. Balancing harmonisation and the safeguarding of national best practices will be crucial for the success of the project.
