LIFE4EPR General consultation on ‘eco-design of products/packaging’ in EPR.

In this consultation, we will investigate the relationship between Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and the eco-design of products and packaging. The assumption is that EPR leads to better design, and we would like to understand whether and how this works in practice, and whether the link could be strengthened. Are there good practices where EPR systems lead to design changes? Eco-modulation is often mentioned as a means to improve ‘green product design’, and we would like to hear stakeholders’ views on this! The workshop focuses on packaging, but we very much welcome insights from other waste streams! During the event, we will split participants up into breakout groups for deeper discussions; some breakouts will facilitate discussions among members of the Working Groups created under the Expert Hub (International WG & EPR Research WG). This event is open to all experts but limited to 50 participants, following the order of registration, to facilitate a fluid conversation
