Valeria Branca is a Project Manager at EXPRA, a global alliance of 35 Producer Responsibility Organizations dedicated to enabling circular and carbon-neutral packaging through optimized Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems. With extensive international experience, she has contributed to initiatives in Spain, Cyprus, and Strasbourg, including work at the Council of Europe.

At EXPRA, Valeria plays a key role in analyzing and promoting best practices in EPR, maintaining a comprehensive database that reflects the diverse approaches of EXPRA’s member organizations across 32 countries. Since the end of 2024, Valeria has served as the Chair of the Governance and Legal Issues Working Group at the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA). In this role, she focuses on advancing regulatory frameworks and policies that support the circular economy. Passionate about sustainability and the continuous evolution of EPR systems, she is committed to fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange to drive innovation in waste management solutions.
