Robert Marschinski is a European Commission official based at the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the in-house science service of the European Commission. Within the unit ‘Circular Economy and Sustainable Industry’ he leads a team on economic analysis. His work investigates the economic dimension of circular economy policies, covering sectors such as textiles, municipal solid waste, or construction and demolition waste. He holds a PhD in economics from TU Berlin, and a degree in physics from the University of Bologna.
