Romane COLLEU, EU Policy Manager, Citeo.

Citeo’s group is the company in charge of the Extended Producer Responsibility schemes for household packaging, horeca packaging and for graphic papers in France, with more than 80 000 clients, working with 900 local municipalities and 300 recyclers. The annual turnover is around 1.3 B€ per year for its activities.

Romane joined the public policy affairs department of Citeo in 2021, after various experiences in the high administration and law firms specialized in European law and Environmental law. She works very closely with all the actors in the packaging value chain, addressing sustainability issues for economic operators, as part of the Green Deal implementation, as well as consumer information related to green claims, in order to promote circularity through extended producer responsibility and reduce the environmental impact of packaging.

She graduated from the Paris 1 Sorbonne University (Master in European Economic Law) and holds a lawyer certification from the Paris Bar Association.
