As mentioned, one concrete mechanism we envision is the stakeholder consultation, the outcome of which would be integrated into policy recommendations. This we hope will contribute to policy improvements. Moreover, the knowledge and experience sharing across the industry sectors and between nations, including between European and non-European states, would provide practitioners with various inspirations and ideas. One might learn how actors in other contexts, be them sectors or countries, manage to overcome challenges similar to what (s)he faces. This might induce operational changes at various aspects of EPR systems, hopefully for the better.
