EPR Reference Database
A comprehensive online bibliography dedicated to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is now freely accessible to researchers, policymakers, industry professionals and anyone interested in exploring the evolution and implementation of EPR worldwide.
The database brings together more than 1,300 references, including peer-reviewed journal articles, books, reports, theses, conference papers and pre-prints, as well as publications from governments, industry, consulting firms and advocacy organisations.
Originally created by the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology at the Yale School of the Environment, the database is now further developed and disseminated through the LIFE4EPR Project, supporting the activities of the project’s ExPeRt Hub.

By making EPR knowledge easier to access and navigate, this resource aims to support research, knowledge exchange and the development of increasingly effective EPR systems.
The development of the database has been supported over time by several organisations, including European Recycling Platform (ERP), Primo Brands, Tetra Pak, WM, AMERIPEN, Sony Interactive Entertainment and the Roy A. Hunt Foundation, among others.
